Dr. Louis Manara
Reproductive EndocrinologistDr. Manara is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He served a rotating internship and a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. This was followed by a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, under the direction of Dr. Edward E. Wallach, Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Pennsylvania Hospital and Director of Reproductive Endocrinology. Following fellowship training, he returned to UMDNJ as an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Sub-Section Director of Reproductive Endocrinology. During his years at UMDNJ, he developed one of the first successful IVF programs in the State of New Jersey. He entered private practice in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility in 1985 and has continued in private practice since that time.
